Chestnut Tree House, the Sussex childrenās hospice, organised a special celebration last month for David Hill, Director of Brighton-based events company, The E3 Group, in recognition of his ten years supporting the charity.
Producers behind the new family pantomime, Cinderella, which opens on December 22 at The Hilton Brighton Metropole, have announced their cast for the show. The line-up, which will seeĀ David Essex appear on-screen as Baron Hardup, includes West End performers, Jon Robyns as Prince Charming:Ā Joseph PetersĀ as Dandini andĀ Alasdair BuchanĀ playing one half of the repugnant ugly sisters Donaldina and Melania.
Family pantomime will return to Brighton this Christmas, with a spectacular new production of Cinderella starring aĀ star studded West End cast to be announced shortly. This traditional family pantomime will take place at The Hilton Brighton Metropole from December 23-27 (no shows on Christmas Day).
A night of cabaret at The Grosvenor in Brighton on June 30 raised Ā£413 for local HIV charity, The Sussex Beacon. The evening was hosted by Krissie Ducann, with performances from David Hill, Neil Jackson, Elaine Evans, Krystal Ball, Maisie Trollette, Spice, Simon Bell and Steve Shappelle. All of the artists performed free of charge, in order to raise money for The Sussex Beacon.
