More LGBT+ venues take part in this year’s Brighton Unity Weekend, up from the original four of Charles Street Tap, Legends, Club & Bar Revenge and The Queens Arms to raise funds for The Rainbow Fund.
Marine Tavern raise £5,519.18 in 2018 for LGBT+ mental health charity. Marine Tavern customers raised £5,519.18 for MindOut the LGBTQ Mental Health Service from their fundraising activities in 2018.
Certificates were presented to Danny Dwyer from Bear-Patrol and The Marine Tavern at the annual MindOut Celebration event on Tuesday, November 13 at Dorset Gardens Methodist Church.
Family and friends will gather at Legends from 9pm this evening to raise a glass to Rose Chillingworth and celebrate her life.
Throughout 2018, Marine Tavern support MindOut, the LGBTQ mental health service, as their local LGBT charity to support with all year round fundraising.
Earlier this year the Dragon Boat Race at Brighton Marina on April 24 was cancelled due to nesting swans in the Marina. The race was re-scheduled for September 9 at Bewl Water in Kent, where eighteen Marine Tavern customers attended to support the Marine Tavern rowers and a great day was had by all.
