Organisers of this year’s Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW), one of the city’s much-anticipated annual events supporting local charities the Sussex Beacon and Brighton Rainbow Fund, are now accepting entries for this year’s Mr Brighton Bear competition, which sees handsome and charismatic participants jostle to win the hearts of the bear community and, of course, the coveted title.

The grand finale will take place on Friday, 12 July at the fantastic BBW stage in Dorset Gardens. The winner will be announced the following day during the Garden Party. Make sure you’re available for both events!
Entry is absolutely free, so sign up now by completing this brief form. Once registered, you will be sent more details. To get started, BBW ask for a minimum of three pictures of you in: (1) Casual daywear (2) Down on the beach (3) Wear what you dare (but save full-frontal nudity for private viewings!).
This year, you’ll have double the chances to win with two voting options. Following last year’s online success, your supporters can vote once online, and an additional vote can be cast at the live event. Online voting will begin at the start of June, so you’ll have a whole month to gather online support.
BBW will be filming short interviews with you (preferably in person, but online if needed) to feature on social media, which you can share to your fans to rally extra support.
