Gear up for a night to remember on Saturday, October 7, from 8.30pm – 12.30am, for Bears at The Fallen Angel – a night of furry fun, laughter, and some great music with the boys from Brighton Bear Weekend, all in aid of the Sussex Beacon and the Brighton Rainbow Fund.
The Bears at The Fallen Angel launch night is Saturday, September 2 at Fallen Angel Brighton, 24 Grafton Street, Kemptown, BN2 1AQ.
The Mr Brighton Bear competition, now in its fifth year, promises to be bigger and better than ever, with six handsome and charismatic participants ready to win hearts and the coveted title.
The boys at Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW) have announced the full programme of events taking place over four-days in July, which will raise funds for the Sussex Beacon and the Brighton Rainbow Fund.
Brighton Bear Weekend is one of the biggest events on the community calendar, which takes place this year from Thursday, July 6 to Sunday, July 9.
BBW are excited to extend a special invitation to furry friends – bears, otters, and cubs – but everyone is welcome.
Not only will there be a quiz with great prizes, but there will also be a raffle with a hamper from Chris Sarson, Funeral Director, and prizes donated from Sussex Beacon and Mike Quinn.
Two of Brighton’s gay venues will be running events to raise vital funds for local HIV charity the Sussex Beacon in February.
BBW say: “Indulge in all those glorious cocktails. Is anyone up for a Snowball? It doesn’t matter if you have been naughty or nice; you are most welcome.”
Tuesday, November 1 saw the return of the Brighton Rainbow Fund (BRF) Grant Presentations event for the first time in three years. Venues and fundraising events were also recognised with the Brighton Rainbow Fund Fundraising Champion Awards.
Helped by some lovely weather and excellent attendance, BBW 2022 had its most successful weekend ever which provided an excellent opportunity to maximise their fundraising efforts.
