Slovenia delivers same-sex marriage legislation ahead of annual Pink Week

Slovenia has become the first post-communist country to announce same-sex marriage legalisation in time for the second annual Pink Week celebrations in May. On Tuesday, March 3 the Slovenian parliament voted to legalise same-sex marriages. This makes Slovenia the first of any former Yugoslavian/Balkan country to pass such a law.
