For almost two years now, the Brighton Museum has housed the UK’s largest collection representing trans lives; the Museum of Transology. The exhibition currently displays diverse artefacts, including everything from prosthetics to train tickets, donated by Brighton’s vibrant trans community.
Queer in Brighton, the heritage learning project are looking for people who want to be involved in a new and exciting Heritage project in the city. The 12 month Heritage Lottery funded project is aimed at developing heritage skills within the LGBT+ communities and creating a strategy for promoting and reclaiming our rich and diverse heritage.
