Brighton & Hove City Council councillors have agreed a plan that will see London Marathon Events given a licence to deliver the Brighton Marathon event from 2023.
Charity worker, Nigel Sarjudeen, runs his tenth Brighton Marathon for Martlets in Hove this April. He has already raised £9,266 for the hospice, but is hoping to beat his target of £10,000.

MindOut, the Brighton and Hove based LGBT mental health project are looking for people to run the half marathon in Brighton on Sunday, February 22 to raise funds for the project. MindOut is an award winning, project providing mental health services in East Sussex and a national online peer support service. It is run by and for LGB&T people with experience of mental health issues.
