A new exhibition from award-winning photographer Chris Jepson has launched at John Lewis on London’s Oxford Street for LGBT+ History Month.
The Identity Project – JLP Edition is a unique photography initiative that celebrates the diversity within the John Lewis Partnership by capturing the portraits and stories of its LGBTQ+ partners. It highlights the rich tapestry of identities within the organisation, emphasising the diverse, inclusive and supportive environment fostered by the Partnership.
Chris said: “A huge thank-you to the 42 people who participated and to the many others who came to the preview last week. It was an amazing and emotional evening with guests including veteran activists like Peter Tatchell, Jonathan Blake and Jason Jones as well as the co-founder of LGBT+ History Month, Sue Sanders, and others.
“We were also thrilled to get a surprise visit and speech from Dame Sharon White DBE, the Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership as well as some inspirational words from Leona Smith, Lead for Diversity and Inclusion at the Partnership.

The exhibition is open for the whole of LGBT+ History Month until February 29 on the 3rd floor of John Lewis, 300 Oxford Street, London WC1. You can also see images HERE
