Elections for police and crime commissioners (PCCs) will take place on May 5, 2016 in England and Wales, but excluding London and Greater Manchester. PCCs are elected by the public every four years to ensure the policing needs of communities are met as effectively as possible and to oversee how crime is tackled in your police force area.
