Residents interested in volunteering have been enjoying the chance to get weeding, pruning and scrub clearing at a series of events in the city’s parks, gardens and open spaces. Meet the gardener volunteering sessions have been a popular addition to the Brighton & Hove City Council’s Love Parks Week programme, which runs until Sunday July 23.
