Eastbourne celebrates Pride with style

The second Eastbourne Pride, held on Saturday July 21 in Princes Park, Eastbourne was organised by BourneOut LGBT. The day started with a parade from the Southern Water Treatment Plant at Langley Point car park at 11.00am. The small but enthusiastic gathering were escorted by drummers from the Eastbourne Bonfire Society along the short promenade to Fort Fun.

The first Eastbourne Mardi Gras, organised by LGBT+ support group, Bourne Out will take place this Saturday, July 22. Organisers who have been staging fundraisers for the last six months to help cover costs of staging the event have also received grant funding from the National Lottery.

Organisers announce line-up for first ever Eastbourne Pride

The main stage line-up has been announced for the first ever Eastbourne Pride 2017, with an ABBA tribute act and X Factor finalist heading the list. The event will be held in Princes Park from 2pm on Saturday July 22. The parade will start at 12.30pm from Langney Point into the park and the entertainment will run until 9pm.
