Club Revenge announces brand new club night, Confession – a safe space for the queer community to celebrate pure indulgence

Graham Robson September 27, 2023

Club Revenge, the Brighton LGBTQ+ nightclub which has now been running for the past 31 years, has announced a brand new club night taking over the venue every Saturday, with the big launch event on Saturday, September 30.

Confession aims to offer a safe space for the queer community to celebrate pure indulgence, with two floors of music, street entertainers and performances from special guest Alex Fincher and Revenge’s resident queens, Tayris Mongardi and Ex-Girlfriend.

After seven years of the infamous WTF! Saturdays, Revenge has totally redesigned their biggest night of the week. Confession promises an immersive queer experience, through interactions with queer performers, collectible badges, themed shooters, and a Confession wall where club goers can confess their deepest secrets for a chance to win free entry the following week.

The upstairs room, Level 2, will also host Altar every Saturday, the companion to Confession, which promises a euphoric house music experience with state of the art lighting and sound.

“We want Confession to be a judgment-free space where queer people can be their authentic, uninhibited selves”, Steve Jones, Revenge’s Managing Director said. “We’re dedicated to running fresh, innovative events for the LGBTQ+ community, and Confession is exactly that.”

Confession x Altar is every Saturday at 10.30pm, with pop, queer pop and R&B on Level 1 of Club Revenge, and vocal house anthems on Level 2. Queue jump tickets are available online, or customers can grab discounted entry passes if they go to R-Bar for a drink beforehand.
