Tim Küsters from the Netherlands comes out on top and wins Mr Gay Europe title

Graham Robson August 26, 2023

After a hectic week with a lot of strong finalists, it was the 28-year-old digital marketing and communications specialist Tim Küsters from the Netherlands that will be holding the title Mr Gay Europe in the year to come.

After a magic week at Alnwick Garden and Castle, with several challenges and social gatherings, the finale itself took place at Alnwick Garden on Saturday, August 26 on what can only be described as a day of rainbow colours.

Tim will be starting his work right away with a new project focusing on mental health and loneliness in the gay community. This project was decided upon by a joint group of finalists as a mission for the new Mr Gay Europe.

Representing the Czech Republic, Kevin Drábek became 1st runner up and Great Britain’s David Allwood became 2nd runner up.

To win Mr Gay Europe, you need to collect points in several challenges and Tim Küsters came first in the personal interview, the project challenge, and the sports challenge. He was 3rd in both the social media challenge, online vote and the written test.
