Artists Open Houses and Sussex Nightstop charity to celebrate positive end to art auction and fundraising campaign

Graham Robson June 1, 2023

Artists Open Houses (AOH) and Sussex Nightstop charity will celebrate a positive end to their art auction and fundraising campaign at Arcobaleno, Brighton on Wednesday, June 7 with a generous amount of funds raised for the youth homelessness charity.

The AOH artists who donated their work to the auction will bid their artworks farewell… and celebrate the success with both Sussex Nightstop and the AOH team at the bright and spacious Arcobaleno venue in Kemptown.

Alison Marino, Executive Director of Sussex Nightstop, said: “The kindness and generosity we’ve experienced from all of the Artists and organisers of AOH who have so wholeheartedly got behind our Sussex Nightstop Sleep Safe campaign and Charity Art auction is so reflective of the warmth and energy we see amongst our volunteers and hosts here at Sussex Nightstop – ordinary people who have a deep concern for young people experiencing homelessness and a pro-active desire to help.

“The community coming together in this creative way sits at the heart of our Sussex Nightstop response to youth homelessness and to have both artists and volunteer hosts opening up their homes in support of our work is simply fantastic.

“The generous funds raised all ensure that we can continue to provide safety, sanctuary and hope for a young person in their journey out of homelessness”.

The event takes place Wednesday, June 7 from 6.30 – 7.3opm at Arcobaleno, 120 St George’s Road, Kemptown, BN2 1EA.
