Manuel Abramovich’s multi award-winning film, centres on Lalo, a sex influencer. He spends his day posting naked photos and homemade porn photos of himself for all his social media followers. In private, though, he seems to live in permanent melancholy. Pornomelancholia reflects on the relationship between sexuality and work, on being public and feeling alone.
