Brighton Lesbian and Gay Sports Society (BLAGSS) are staging their annual Treasure Hunt on Sunday, April 21 to raise money for MindOut, Brighton & Hove’s LGBT Mental Health Project.
Teams of up to eight people will roam around Hove in search of clues and treasure items.
BLAGSS Chair, Gene Johnson, said:
“It’s a great way to explore the neighbourhood and use some brain-power, as you look for clues, solve some riddles, and aim to do it in the fastest time. And if you consider yourself to be a trivial person (well, you like trivia), you’ll love it…”
WHO: Teams of up to eight people can register.
WHERE: St. Ann’s Well Gardens: meet at the LGBT Suicide Memorial Tree (look for balloons), not far from the cafe.
DATE: Sunday, April 21,
TIME: 2 pm start, allow 2-3 hours for the hunt, then enjoy a refreshing drink afterwards at a to-be-found watering hole, basking in the treasures you find.
Need Anything?:
• Comfy walking shoes
• Possible rain gear
• An iphone
• A sudoko geek will be useful
• Someone, anyone, with a sense of direction
Entry: £5 per person, with all proceeds going to MindOut
Participants must be able to walk about 3 miles, allowing 2-3 hours to complete the trail. The trail is entirely in Hove will stay well clear of the fascist march in Brighton.
