The Rainbow Hub Brighton seeks three new trustees!

Graham Robson October 2, 2020

The Rainbow Hub on St James’s Street, Brighton & Hove’s local point of contact for LGBTQ+ people seeking up to date help, information or guidance, in a safe, non-judgemental environment, is seeking three new trustees to help the charity move forward into a post Covid-19 future, one with real challenges for our LGBTQ+ communities. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday, October 7; interviews will take place on Zoom on Friday, October 9.

The board currently consists of three founding trustees. One of the existing trustees is standing down, so The Rainbow Hub is looking to welcome three new trustees to the board. This is a great opportunity for applicants of all ages, including those who have no experience in such a role, and a chance to gain experience whilst bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to ways in which The Rainbow Hub can continue to serve and support our communities.

For more info/to apply, email your contact details and a few sentences on what you will bring to the role to hubmanager@therainbowhubbrighton.com or call 07530 636636. Alternatively, pop into The Rainbow Hub, 93 St James Street, BN2 1TP.

Please note, The Rainbow Hub welcomes applications from the trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant communities. Further to this, The Rainbow Hub recognises that those from Black trans communities, and non-Black People of Colour are under-represented in their team, in addition to those with disabilities. As a course of positive action to improve community representation in their team, The Rainbow Hub actively encourage applications from these underrepresented groups.

Accessibility: If you would prefer to submit your application in another way, or a different format, please do get in touch. Likewise, if you require assistance and/or have any questions regarding the application process, don’t hesitate to contact them.
