Martlets hospice call for local people to join in the fun at their KAPOW! event – a superhero-themed 5k inflatable obstacle course – taking place in Preston Park on Saturday, September 14, at 11am.
THE charity has launched a ‘Flash Sale’ with 25% off tickets until the end of July..
Fun runners are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero and tackle a course of ten huge inflatables – enter as a team or take on a personal challenge – there will be lots of super-friends to meet on the way.
Everyone taking part will be doing their bit to be fundraising superhero for Martlets helping to make a positive difference to lives of people needing hospice care in the Brighton and Hove area.
KAPOW! is a family friendly event – anyone over 1.2 m can join in the fun – accompanied by a paying adult.
Mum of two, Katharine Spalding took part last year said: “I tackled the KAPOW! course last year with my two children, Joshie and Maisie, and we had such brilliant fun together – from planning our superhero outfits to climbing up and then jumping down huge inflatables it was a laugh from start to finish! I would one hundred per cent recommend it to anyone you’ll be smiling for days afterwards and it’s all to support a fantastic local charity.”
