Samantha Wright was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer on 09/01/16. Her mother Sandy has contacted Gscene asking for help with her daughters Gofundme campaign.

Sandy says: “My daughter is gay, was born and lived in Brighton until recently and was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Unfortunately she can no longer afford to live in Brighton or this country for that matter due to the lack of housing and high rental costs, which means at the time she most needs her family and friends she is having to live abroad as rents are much cheaper there and she does not have to go through the rigmarole of agents searches/fees/deposits etc.

She has registered on the GoFundMe site to try to raise capital for much-needed treatment to fight the cancer. I wonder if anyone that knows Sam or even if they do not would consider donating to her even if it is only a small amount as it all adds up.

Sam says: “I have been on an integrative healing journey since January and I count myself both blessed and lucky that I’m writing this, that I found the strength and courage to trust my instincts and know that I can heal my body…

“I have been shunned, told I’m going to die more than once, had 95% of people I know tell me what to do with my body, moved across 2 continents, moved up a Spanish mountain.. and now, lost my job!  I’ve also been blessed with the support of longstanding friends, random acts of kindness and inspired by incredibly brave women with breast cancer.

“Unfortunately Brexit killed my job on July 1..….and now I need your help on the final stretch of my healing journey to get the cancer into remission!

“I am working with an Integrative Cancer Specialist and I need 6 months of treatment to beat the cancer into remission. My monthly treatment and costs for drugs, tests and supplements for the next 6 months are £12,300 or until I can replace my income..

Any excess funds donated will be made available to other women with Breast Cancer who are struggling financially with their integrative treatment costs.
