RadioReverb to mark International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 7

Gscene Editorial Team March 2, 2020

RadioReverb, Brighton’s volunteer-run community radio station, will be marking International Women’s Day with a day of live broadcasting on Saturday, March 7.

The event will run alongside photographer Anita Corbin’s exhibition 100 First Women Portraits at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, which is the culmination of Anita’s 10-year personal mission to capture the portraits of modern female trailblazers from celebrities to famous personalities and unsung heroines.

An all-women team of presenters and producers at RadioReverb will broadcast interviews with the subjects of the exhibition and showcase the many events taking place at the Museum on that day, including panel discussions, workshops and performances.

Charlotte Petts from RadioReverb, said “This is a first for RadioReverb and we’re excited to team up with Brighton Museum for this groundbreaking event. 100 First Women is an innovative exhibition and we’re looking forward to featuring some of the pioneering women included in the work. RadioReverb celebrates the diversity of Brighton and Hove so to be broadcasting live from this event is a great fit.”

RadioReverb is based in Brighton and can be found on 97.2FM on DAB+ and online: www.radioreverb.com
