Queens Arms install cabaret stage in George Street for Pride Village Street Party

The Queens Arms are pulling out all stops to make this years Pride Street Party a pleasurable and safer experience for their regular customers and visitors to the city alike.

Queens Arms Cabaret Zone

A cabaret stage will be erected in George Street outside the Queens Arms and a line up of singers has been programmed for Saturday, August 2 from 7pm hosted by OMT Showman.

Artists confirmed to appear include: Jacque Bennett, Joe Dellow, Sam Solace, Caroline Heyes Smith, Sophie Causbrook, Adam Lyons, Allan Jay and X Factor singer, Lascel Wood.

On Sunday,  August 3 Davina Sparkle will be hosting an afternoon of drag cabaret on the outside stage raising funds for the Rainbow Fund, who give grants to LGBT/HIV organisations who provide effective front line services to LGBT people in Brighton & Hove.

Running Order for the afternoon outside the Queens Arms is as follow:

4.00pm – Miss Jason

4.20pm – Tammy Twinkle

4.40pm – Sally Vate

5.00pm – Jacque Bennett

5.20pm – Little Cosmic

5.40pm – Rose Garden

6.00pm – Lola’s Pride Cabaret Show

6.45pm – Cassidy Connors

7.00pm – The Poppies (Jennie Castells Girl Band)

7.15pm – Dave Lynn

7.30pm – Maisie Trollette (Until 7.45pm)

7.45pm Finish

Entry to the street party is by Pledgeband only, costing £5 for 2 days with £1 guaranteed going to the Rainbow Fund.

Organisers recommend that you purchase your Pledgeband in advance to avoid queues on the day.

Pledgebands will be required for entry to the secure zone (see map below) during village party hours and to purchase alcohol in venues and outlets on Saturday, August 2, 4pm – 12.30am and Sunday, August 3, 2pm – 8pm.

No Alcohol can be brought into the secure zone during Village Party hours.
