Emer Druce, Chief Operating Officer, said: “It’s fantastic to bring Pride In The Park to Southampton. The area has a rich and vibrant history and that shows with the extraordinary support my team has received. We’ve all been made to feel very welcome and with tickets moving so quickly, we can’t wait to enjoy what promises to be a fantastic weekend.”

The Central Stage features recognised artists from across the Pride family and national festival acts, showcasing a diverse array of musical genres, sing-along hosts and fabulous drag queens. This year’s lineup includes: Majestix, who have supported Sister Sledge, Natalie Imbruglia, Blue and several times for Scouting For Girls; The Vi5ion, who boast support slots for Craig Charles, Blue and Martin Kemp; cover legends The 45s; internationally respected The Priscillas; Portsmouth’s anthemic crowd pleasers Rock Of The Pops; the outrageously wonderful Bodacious; regional royalty Hunting Hearts; and a variety of Pride favourites such as Misty Lee, Dixie Normous, Kyle Finn and Mileena Wynter. Complementing them will be a host of talented local artists, ready to make their mark.

Pride In The Park features an extensive and expansive range of food vendors, creative stalls, and numerous other activities in particular, event sponsor Charles Cole’s Family Fun Fair, who bring a family-oriented fun fair, complete with bouncy castles and interactive rides. Favourite bars and social spaces are also making a return.

Nat Wreford, trustee of Pride in the Park, said: “Working with the council and all our team has been a joy. I’ve been involved in events for over eight years and this Pride In The Park has an unbelievably feel-good factor to it. Get ready to kick off your summer in style with us in a fun-filled atmosphere under the sun”

Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to secure tickets in advance to avoid waiting at the gate. Free tickets are available HERE. Tickets can also be obtained at the gate.

In an event statement, Firefly Festivals said: “For the past three years, we have been successfully building up an LGBTQ+ festival based on accessibility and bringing all communities together and showing this can be done without taking away from the battles won. Together, let’s make this Pride In The Park a spectacular event that heralds Pride every day.”
