Leeds Pride is to to return bigger, bolder, louder and prouder on Sunday, July 21 after the biggest-ever Pride parade last year, which saw over 167 businesses taking part throughout the day.
Last year over 60,000 people took part to celebrate Pride in the city. This year, organisers promise the event is going to be the biggest, boldest, and brightest Pride to date. The event will once again be free to attend and has seen numbers grow year on year, with more allies than ever before heading into the city to let their hair down and show their support.
As in previous years, Lower Briggate will host the main stage, whilst the legendary parade stage will remain at Millennium Square. New for 2024 is the addition of Call Lane, which will add a new dynamic to the day and see several more of the city’s most popular bars join in the fun.
Of course, Leeds Pride would be nothing without an incredible line-up of DJs, drag queens, fabulous entertainment, and the infamous parade. A series of pre-Pride events leading up to the big day are also currently in the pipeline so keep checking the Leeds Pride website for more info.
On top of being one of the city’s hottest parties, Leeds Pride is also a commercial hotbed of opportunity for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
