Peter Joannou, Brighton’s singing barber presents an afternoon of fabulous entertainment in aid of local charity, Save Madeira Terraces on Brighton Palace Pier.
PETER will be performing along with Mister Jones & The Living, Apollo Brighton, Rosie Chapman, The Marta Scott Dance Company, Sylvia Rota (Soprano) and En Tenguerengue.
This fundraising event will be held on the iconic Brighton Palace Pier. So go along, enjoy a great show, while raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
There will be a prize raffle with all monies raised going to preserve the Madeira Terraces.
Peter Joannou Brighton’s Singing Barber loves cutting men’s hair and singing. On the last Saturday of every month after finishing work, he goes upstairs in his shop, takes his sash window out and sings to passers-by from 6-7pm.
The event is being organised by the Official Group of the Save Madeira Terraces Raffle Fund. So far they have held two extremely successful raffles, have organised clean-ups along the Madeira Terraces. They collect money for the fund by selling stuff, shaking tins and leaving collection boxes in supporting businesses.
Organisers are on the look-out for raffle prizes for this their third raffle and are also collecting bric-a-brac for a big scheme they have in mind.
This event is being run completely by Brighton people who are volunteers!!
