The Women’s Performance Tent in partnership with the Brighton Women’s Centre return to Preston Park for Brighton & Hove Pride on August 3 with a stunning line-up of talented grrrl-driven bands and artists.

Famous for showcasing the UK’s top women performers from the LGBTQ community, this year’s line up includes Gay Icons, chart toppers, alternative acts, quirky and fresh new talent playing live from 2-8pm in the Women’s Performance Tent.

The Women’s Tent is a must for lovers of folk, pop, punk, rock, rap, electro, indie and jazz.

This years star studded line-up includes performances from X Factor finalist Lucy Spraggan, lesbian Icon Horse, AMiTY, Greymatter, The L Project, Kenelis, Joan Ov Arc, Qukulele, Heads Hearts, Nat Ripepi, Al Start Band, Danni Nicholls, Eeek and Beatnik Horrors.

Lucy who shot to fame on last years X Factor has recently signed to major record label Columbia and had chart success with her new single Lighthouse. Her original blend of acoustic/folk/hip-hop songs won over both the X Factor judges and the voting public. She will be appearing fresh from her sell out UK headline tour.

In keeping with this year’s theme of Gay Icons, lesbian Icon Horse will be squeezing her Pride performance between tour dates and the launch of her brand new 9th studio album Home to be released on July 1.
