Line-up for Gay Village Party announced

The stage will feature eclectic local talent. Take a picnic, meet your friends and relax and enjoy yourself in this alcohol free zone.

The line up includes:

2pm: Opening with Andi Coates compering.

 

Nicky Mitchell

2.10-2.30pm: Nicky Mitchell is a professional jazz guitarists, vocalist & songwriter. She has performed all over Europe and America as well as in the UK & worked with top names such as Taka Boom, Dana Gillespie, Lee De Laria, Jo Brand and Jenny Eclair.

2.40-3pm: Cellar Doors – Libby and Nathan have been writing music together for the past three years, their differing styles resulting in an eclectic mix of indie folk, upbeat tunes, and endless cups of tea.

 

Al Start

3.10-3.30pm: Al Start – Brighton’s based Al Start has released three albums and has toured internationally as a solo singer-songwriter. She has crossed to the dark side in recent years and writes and sings with children! Four children’s albums and countless sell-out shows later she has become the Pied Piper of Brighton! Go and see what all the fuss is about! Great fun for the whole family.

3.40-4.10pm: Three Against Four – Brighton Reggae Crew bringing you a sweet mix of Reggae, Ska and Hip Hop

4.10-4.30pm: Trudi Styles & the Piano Man – Trudi Styles & the Piano Man entertain with a special set of soft sounds and belting ballads.

4.30-4-50pm: Sally Vates is a true all rounder with witty banter and comic songs that have made Sally a huge hit on the local cabaret circuit.

4.55-5.15pm: JP Christian – JP is a versatile singer who started out in the Bath and Bristol area ten years ago and has been a regular on the Brighton circuit for the last three years. He specialises in classic pop and swing from the 50s right up to the present day.

5.35-5.55pm: Ronnie Rialto  – Ronnie was a big hit with the ladies at the last Free Brighton Pride – Lounge singer extraordinaire, Ronnie returns for an encore. An entertainment with timeless appeal for all ages”

6.05-7pm: Paul Diello – has been compared to Eddie Izzard and Anthony and The Johnsons, but Paul is actually entirely unique. He posses a stunning vocal and song writing talent that has brought him a whole raft of fans many of whom have fallen in love with him via his self released debut album “The Last Green Bottle”.

7.10-8pm: Conundrum are a Brighton Based covers band playing a mix of Soul, Blues, Jazz’n’ a few other surprises thrown in for good measure. Between them they all have a wealth of experience, guaranteed to keep you on your toes all night…combining their own “Conundrum” arrangements with a twist.. oozing soul, class and integrity, energy and unbelievable music ability!…
