Sarah Green July 4, 2014

Simon Kirby MP for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven brought a number of Conservative MPs to the Brighton area yesterday.

Tory MPs visit Brighton

They came to see the city for themselves and hear from local residents in Brighton Kemptown the reasons why they like Brighton so much and about some of the issues that are affecting their lives.

Simon said: “As a vocal champion of the local area I invited my colleagues to visit Brighton to see for themselves everything the city has to offer and to speak to local residents about the issues affecting them.”

A large group of over 25 MPs from all over the country came down to the city with Simon. The MPs visited neighbourhoods across his Brighton Kemptown constituency, meeting residents and seeing and hearing the sights and sounds of Brighton.

Simon said: “All MPs are proud of the constituency they represent but I wanted to show my colleagues first hand what a terrific place Brighton is to live and visit and how vibrant, cosmopolitan and go ahead the place really is. The MPs were impressed with the constituency and the visit will give them a greater insight of the area when I speak about the issues affecting Brighton Kemptown in the House of Commons.”
