Mike Weatherley, the Conservative MP for Hove and Portslade, has backed a unique initiative that highlights the sexism that many women face every day.

The Everyday Sexism Project exists to catalogue instances of sexism that are experienced by women as they go about their normal lives. The project vividly highlights that sexism exists in abundance in the UK and that it is very far from being a problem that we no longer need to discuss.

Mike said:

“The Everyday Sexism Project is a fantastic initiative that draws attention in a very eye-opening way to the kind of sexism that many women face on a day to day basis. The frank accounts of experiences of women from around the world underscores the need to take sexism seriously. Sadly you only need to read a few stories from women in Britain to see that sexism is very much alive and kicking in this country.”
