Healthwatch seeks new Board Directors

Graham Robson March 20, 2021

Healthwatch Brighton & Hove, which has been the watchdog for health and social care issues for people of this city for nearly seven years, is inviting applications to join its Board to replace some existing Directors who are coming to the end of their six-year tenures.

Healthwatch is seeking to enhance the diversity of the Board so if you have a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic background, or you are a younger person, then they are particularly interested in hearing from you. It is also interested in hearing from people who have existing links into the local voluntary sector, and/or with finance expertise, or a background in digital inclusion.

All Directors are volunteers, unpaid, but with reasonable expenses being met. Directors are appointed for three years, with an opportunity to extend for a second three-year tenure.

If you want a chance to influence the health and social care agenda, submit a CV and covering statement by 4pm on Monday, April 19 explaining why you would like to become a Director of Healthwatch Brighton & Hove and how you meet the role description and person specification. Additional information is available by clicking here.

To discuss this role, contact David Liley, Chief Officer of Healthwatch Brighton & Hove via  david@healthwatchbrightonandhove.co.uk or 07931755343
