Local HIV charity the Sussex Beacon has announced the raffle held during a Eurovision Party at Brighton’s Duke of York‘s Picturehouse raised over £500.
The Sussex Beacon said: “The Eurovision Party at Duke of York’s Picturehouse was truly incredible! Huge numbers of fans arrived for what was a really exciting, fun evening. With the amazing Boogaloo Stu hosting, everyone was in very safe hands. Speaking of which, the management and team were absolutely magnificent. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked their socks off to ensure everyone had a fabulous time.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Duke of York’s for their kindness and generosity, with multiple prizes being donated, including a free membership and a night at the cinema (with all sorts of goodies included).
“Once again, thanks also to Boogaloo Stu and everyone who bought tickets on the night. The money raised will help us continue our vital work, supporting and caring for people living with HIV.”
