Explore the South Downs National Park and more with the 13X

August 10, 2020

Brighton & Hove Buses has brought back its popular 13X summer service, giving access to beautiful scenery at Seven Sisters Park, Birling Gap and Beachy Head as the bus makes its way to Eastbourne.

Martin Harris, Brighton & Hove Buses’ Managing Director, said: ‘This limited stop service is a really convenient way to get to Seven Sisters, especially as you can catch it from both Brighton and Eastbourne train stations. Many people have chosen a staycation this year and this is an easy way to get to our beautiful, local countryside for a walk, bird watching or even paddle boarding on the river.

‘Bringing back the 13X also provides additional capacity for customers on our buses along the popular Coaster route between Brighton and Eastbourne.’

The 13X operates three journeys every Saturday and every half an hour on Sunday and Public Holidays. The bus also stops at Brighton and Eastbourne stations to help with easy train connections.

Cost for unlimited all day travel: £5.20 per adult or £9 for a whole family. Ticket prices are based on buying via the mobile app. Family tickets are valid for up to five people using the same mobile-ticket with a minimum of one adult and a maximum of two adults (children aged 5-15).
