Unite the Union Brighton & Hove is hosting International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) at the Ledward Centre on Friday, 17 May in collaboration with Brighton & Hove City Council‘s LGBTQ+ Workers’ Forum.

Look forward to a night of socialising and speakers including those involved in queer workplace and community organising. The event will open with a performance from Brighton’s Rainbow Chorus.

Organisers say: “IDAHOBIT provides an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to come together by celebrating diversity and collective solidarity in our ongoing struggles against discrimination. This day is important in fostering belonging and empowerment, having a visible LGBTQ+ community is vital for the broader LGBTQ+ world.”
