Rhize Up Fest: Radical Rhizomes to open its doors to general public for the very first time at Brighton’s Ironworks on Sunday, March 24

To celebrate 5+ years of creative QTIBPoC communities in Brighton & Hove, Radical Rhizomes is to open its doors for the first time to the general public at Brighton’s Ironworks on Sunday, March 24, showcasing and sharing some favourite activities from its regular programme.

Rhize Up Fest is a QTIBPoC-led space open to all allies of queer, trans and intersex Black people and people of colour, showcasing some favourite activities and the results of partner projects, including Rhizomes Rising Creative Development Programme, and the weekly Vogue classes at The Dance Space.

Event organisers say: “Experience live performances by Radical Rhizomes members, immerse yourself in an accessible Vogue workshop with Bambi, and engage in a long table discussion about QTIBPoC community, creativity, health, and wellbeing. Explore our abundant craft corner, and browse stalls selling unique artwork crafted by our talented community members.”
