Brighton Pride ‘free’ community events

Brighton & Hove Pride 2015 will see numerous free community events for everyone to enjoy as the 25th anniversary celebrations for Pride in the City come to a climax.

Pride Fun Run

The Diversity Games Sunday Fun Day at Preston Park on July 19 will start from 10am and be packed with exciting free activities and attractions for all the family to enjoy.

These will include a community picnic, BLAGSS Sports Day fun and games, 5K Rainbow Colour Run, Albion in the Community inflatable football pitch, military assault course, hourly sport displays, Zorbs and the Pride Diversity Games prize giving ceremony.

Join in the competitions or just cheer from the sidelines as Brighton & Hove’s sport loving community come together for a day of truly diverse fundraising fun and games.

The Pride Dog Show at Hove RFC on  Sunday, July 26 will be filled with perfect pooches and handsome hounds as Pride celebrates the city’s top dogs. Run in association with Coastway Veterinary Group, the Pride Dog show is free for spectators and set to be a pup-perfect day featuring awards in numerous categories including top dog and best bitch!, retail stalls, a glamorous catwalk doggy fashion show, bar, refreshments and, more doggies than you can shake a tail at.

Other free events at Brighton & Hove Pride 2015 will include the BrightonPride25 and #Outcome exhibitions at Jubilee Library from July 17 and the world-famous spectacular Brighton Pride Community Parade on Saturday, August 1, the highlight of Pride’s 25th anniversary year.
