If you go down to Queens Park, Brighton on June 29 you’re in for a Big Surprise!
You won’t find Goldie Locks there but you will find plenty of hairy men, cos that’s the day the Brighton Bears have their annual picnic during the Brighton Bears Weekend.
As they did last year Lunch Positive, the HIV charity who provide a healthy meal and support once a week to people with HIV will be providing a pop up community cafe serving reasonably priced fresh rolls, delicious quiches and sensational salads all washed down with a selection of fruit juices. Buy freshly prepared produce while at the same time supporting the work of Lunch Positive. You are free to take your own drinks and food also.
Last year 100 bears enjoyed the picnic and in the process helped raise over £1,350 for the Rainbow Fund to be distributed through their grants programme to LGBT and HIV organisation in Brighton & Hove.
