THE Flying Weasels, team lineup of Gav Orton, James Duggan, Alexi McCreedy, Oli Peart, Gavin Roffe and Mark Whelan not only won the quiz but scooped the £300 bonus prize donated by the Camelford Arms.

Mark Flood, manager of the Camelford Arms expertly held the evening together asking questions set by Graham Munday from BBWE.

The evening raised a brilliant £350.10 for the Rainbow Fund, who give grants to LGBT/HIV organisations and groups in Brighton and Hove who provide effective front line services to the LGBT/HIV community in the city.

James Duggan from the Flying Weasels said: “Me and the rest of the team were completely over the moon last night about finally winning The Camelford Quiz, which was held in partnership of the Brighton Bear Weekend and Rainbow Fund. We’ve been attending this quiz for nearly 3 years now, and, despite achieving some very respectable final scores, we’d never walked away with the £300 big cash prize.. until now!

“I took my partner Gavin along for the very first time, so we nominated him to pick the winning envelope at the end.. beginner’s luck!

“We had a great time, as we always do and it was fantastic to see so many people there buying raffle tickets to support Brighton Bear Weekend and the Rainbow Fund.”

• Bear ceramic from Chris Murphy Ceramics

• £20 gift card from Prowler
