Besi Besemar April 24, 2013

Martlets HospiceThe Martlets Hospice, a charity providing end of life care services to adults with terminal diseases, will be hosting an Anonymous Art Auction to raise funds at The Brighton Museum on Wednesday, June 12 at 7pm.

WEB.220The auction offers people the chance to bid for original works of art by well known artists, celebrities and sports stars, including Sally Gunnell, Nick Cave, and David Walliams, who instead of contributing a piece of art, has donated a signed copy of his book.

All proceeds will be donated to the Hospice, who need to raise £8,000 every day in order to carry out these vital services and in an intriguing twist, no one will know who the postcard-sized, original artworks are by, adding to the excitement of the evening.

The artworks will be displayed at the Founders Room, Brighton Dome from Friday, June 7.

Tickets are £5 on the door, which includes a complimentary glass of wine.
