JOB: Allsorts Youth Project seeks LGBTQ+ Youth Support Worker

Graham Robson November 10, 2022

Sussex-based LGBTQ+ youth charity, Allsorts Youth Project, is currently seeking to recruit an “experienced and enthusiastic” LGBTQ+ Youth Support Worker to induct young people into the project, facilitate groups and offer one-to-one support.

The successful candidate will act as a positive LGBTQ+ role-model for Allsorts’ service users and join a growing, professional and passionate team who support LGBTQ+ children, young people and their families, and challenge exclusion, prejudice and discrimination in all areas of their lives.

Allsorts’ new full-time position at £24,491 per annum is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and will offer a fixed term contract until March 2024 (subject to passing probation and funding thereafter).

Allsorts Youth Project say: “We are an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We particularly encourage applications from people from intersectional minority groups, including those who are people of colour and/or from a minority ethnic background, those with disabilities, or who are neurodiverse, as these groups are currently underrepresented in the Allsorts workforce and the wider charity sector.”
