PREVIEW: ‘Hundred Watt Club’ at Old Market in Hove

Besi Besemar October 2, 2014

An intimate night of vintage inspired, raucous burlesque and cabaret entertainment!

Hundred Watt Club

Surrey’s sell out Hundred Watt Club show is bringing a night of gorgeous burlesque and risqué cabaret and circus entertainment to Brighton.

Dress up to the nines in your retro finery and let the ladies (and gents!) of the chorus delight you for a few hours!

On Saturday, November 15 from 8 p.m. they’ll be commanding the stage of The Old Market with a dazzling line-up including bump and grind burlesque from Cherry Shakewell, twisted musical comedy from Mr Joe Black, award winning hula from Chi-Chi Revolver, effervescent striptease from Violet Blaze and soaring vocals from songbird Lili La Scala.

Producer Lena Mae said:  “I love Brighton so much and visit as often as possible, staying with friends and absorbing the atmosphere. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to bring a show here, and proud to present such a varied and vibrant cast!”

Hundred Watt Club was founded in 2008 by Lena Mae, a Surrey-based burlesque dancer who produces theatre shows, club nights and pop-up shows featuring some of the best UK and international burlesque and cabaret artists.
