Lynn Ruth Miller, one of the oldest working comediennes on either side of the Atlantic, has two new regular shows in Brighton in the New Year.

LYNN, a Brighton Lights hostess on Latest TV and winner of the 2013 TO&ST Award in Edinburgh, will be appearing on the first Wednesday of the month till May in The Mesmerist in Madness at the Mesmerist, with an hour of interactive comedy and song. The show kicks off at 8 p.m., entry is £5 and the monthly dates are: Jan 7, Feb 4, March 4, April 1 and May 6.

The second show is a new, unique comedy event at The Comedy Studio at The Greys Pub, Southover Street, co-hosted by Lynn and trans* comedienne Shelly Bridgeman. The evening will be a combination of observational comedy and interviews to see what makes a comic tick.

The shows, on the third Saturday of every month, will feature major headliners from Brighton and London including Lewis Shaeffer on January 24, Julie Jepson on February 21, Jo Public on March 21, Josephine Lacey on April 18, Will Frankel on June 20 and Zoe Lyons on August 15. Guests are still to be confirmed for May 16 and July 18. The action starts at 8.30 p.m. and entry is free.
