Brighton & Hove skills and employment fair at Brighton Centre on Friday, June 23

Brighton & Hove City Council is working in partnership with the Sussex Council of Training Providers (SCTP) to bring the Brighton & Hove City Skills and Employment Fair 2023.

The event takes place at the Brighton Centre in the Syndicate Rooms on Friday, June 23, from 11am-4pm and will give attendees the chance to meet with employers and training providers.

This free event will showcase the range of employment opportunities and training courses on offer to Brighton & Hove residents of all ages. There will be a focus on construction, health and social care, hospitality and digital sectors, but other sectors will also be represented.

Councillor Lucy Helliwell, joint chair of the Children, Families & Schools Committee, said: “The skills and employment fair is an excellent opportunity for employers from across Brighton’s various job sectors to meet with potential candidates.

“Brighton & Hove City Council is committed to supporting jobseekers into work and giving them the confidence and skills to succeed in their future careers. The fair is also a chance for those just starting out in their careers or even those looking for a change to see what’s on offer from employers across the city.

“We realise the importance of helping local businesses to find suitable candidates and will ensure that we continue to build on Brighton’s reputation as a great place to live and work.
