OutRight’s research on impact of Covid-19 on LGBTQ+ people presented in webinars

On Thursday, May 7, OutRight Action International, which works at a global, regional and national level to eradicate the persecution, inequality and violence LGBTQ+ people face around the world, released a pioneering report documenting effects of the pandemic on LGBTQ+ people, “Vulnerability Amplified: The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on LGBTIQ people”, which overwhelmingly shows that the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people as a result of the virus and surrounding containment measures are specific and amplified compared to the broader population.

OutRight Action International will be sharing findings from the report in three upcoming webinars, which are free and open to the public.
