Local actor needed to play LGBT+ character role

La La Theatre Comp seek a Brighton actor to complete the cast for an exciting and original comedy.

TO heal, or not to heal?  Is that a question?

To err is human! Does that even make sense?

There are only two things that are certain in life…death and taxes..oh yeah, three things… Therapy!

Therapy is a multi-layered morality comedy that plays host to a disparate bunch of characters seeking answers at the Orpady School of Higher Insight Training.

OSHIT leads the residents on a bonkers course of self-healing, lovingly guided by a new age hippie and a bizarre Dr. with some hilarious consequences. The show was performed at the Marlborough theatre in 2015 to a sell-out audience and has been re written, re vamped and is currently looking for  an actor to complete the cast.

Audition Date Wednesday June 13 (evening) in Brighton,

Davey – Male 20’s to early 30’s – Physical attributes –  Slim build preferably under 6ft .

Producers are looking for talented LGBT character actor with good comic timing who can portray a quirky, nervous disposition. The actor would be required to wear smudged eye make-up and strip down to underwear. The role is multi-dimensional, as the character develops and grows in confidence throughout the performance.

Performance dates:

Lewes: October 11, 2018

Brighton:  October 12-13, 2018

London: October 18-20, 2018

Rehearsals start on August 15.
