THE Grand Brighton Half Marathon is among the biggest annual running events on the South Coast, which is organised by The Sussex Beacon charity and will take place on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Brighton. In addition to offering individual running places, next year will also see the fourth return of the relay race as part of the half marathon. Entries for this event used to be restricted to businesses and corporate organisations.
Charity places in The Grand Brighton Half Marathon close on Sunday, January 28 so runners need to sign up now to avoid missing out. The 28th Brighton Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, February 25. General entries to the race sold out in October and charity places are now the only way to enter.
Sussex Beacon, organisers of the Brighton Half Marathon have today announced The Grand Hotel Brighton as the new headline sponsor for the race for the next three years. As the headline sponsor, The Grand Brighton will give back to the Brighton community by supporting runners and their fundraising efforts.
