Police make changes to role of PCSOs

Sussex Police introduce new role for PCSO’s to “proactively problem solve and tackle local issues in Sussex”. PCSOs with enhanced powers and skills, will start their new role on Monday, July 4 equipped with new skills and powers to deal with a wide range of local problems. They will be able to act to resolve issues such as alcohol fuelled anti-social behaviour from their very first day in the new role.

Bulldog agree new licensing hours with Sussex Police

Police make donation for accessible toilets at Pride

Brighton & Hove Police have donated £1500 to the Brighton and Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum to fund the hire of a High Dependency mobile Unit (HDU) at Pride this summer. The High Dependency Unit is a specialist facility that provides a range of features which makes events accessible for people with moderate to severe disabilities.

Sussex Police webchat marks Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Trans history month

Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans (LGBT) history month takes place in February every year and celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community.
Sussex Police will be hosting a live web chat to mark the event.
The live chat will give members of the public a chance to put questions to a panel giving advice and support on all LGBT issues, the law and policing, as well as hate crime.
