Humanists UK, a leading voice in the campaign for same-sex marriage, is today celebrating the ten year anniversary of the Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Act, which received Royal Assent on 17 July 2013. The Act’s primary aim was to allow for marriages of same-sex couples, which came into force the following year.
