The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has provided several LGBTQ+ venues in the city with emergency funding to help them survive the coronavirus pandemic.

With so much of the commercial gay scene changing, or sadly disappearing, it’s reassuring to know that traditions such as this annual sports day continue to bring the LGBT communities together and give us all a familiar warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
Following a community campaign, the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (or RVT), the UK’s oldest LGBTQ pub, becomes a listed building. The RVT is the first building in the country listed for its significance to LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) heritage.
