LGBTQ+ military charity Fighting With Pride has announced that LGBTQ+ Armed Forces veterans have accepted an invitation to march with the Defence Group which includes the uniformed Armed Forces, at Pride 50 tomorrow in London.
Elderly veterans of the first UK Pride march in 1972 will lead two Pride parades: one this Friday, July 1, which is the exact 50th anniversary of the first UK Pride, and another during the official Pride in London parade on Saturday, July 2.
The group was established in September 2021 to connect, support and represent the LGBTQ+ community with a range of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression who have an Arabic Heritage and Culture.
The coin, produced in collaboration with Pride in London, features Pride in London’s values of Protest, Visibility, Unity and Equality.
