I have to remind myself that this diverse and inclusive singing group is an amateur non – audition choir where some members can’t read music. That makes their latest concert all the more remarkable because they opened the event with a beautiful and sensitive rendition of the phenomenally tricky Faure Requiem.

There was plenty of love in the room at St Georges Church, Kemptown for the Rainbow Chorus Christmas concert The Sledge of Glory which was a sell out. The Rainbows have a firm fan base and were enthusiastically received and encouraged in both halves of the show by a noisy and appreciative audience.
