Chuka Umunna praised the resilience and initiative of Sussex firms on a visit to the city yesterday (Thursday, April 30). The Shadow Business Secretary was visiting Brighton to support Nancy Platts, Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven. Umunna has led initiatives such as the Small Business Saturday Campaign, backed by Edward Street employer American Express. He visited business and small companies in Woodingdean including Johny’s Wares Hardware Store.
